Eligibility We are looking to hire a skilled Media Relations candidate to assist with all media related tasks including brand marketing, digital marketing, marketing strategy, media integration, media planning, relationship marketing, social media marketing, sustainable marketing and event management. If you are one who debates social media marketing vs conventional marketing, this is for you! RESPONSIBILITIES Leading in the development and implementation of media press communication plans. Managing the day-to-day media relationship like responding to requests for information, brand establishment, and corporate challenges. Creating and maintaining a media crisis plan to guide the organisation in responding to a crisis when the need occurs. Developing materials including articles and news for a press release. Collaborating with the marketing team and other stakeholders to create a public image that is in harmony with the organisation\'s strategic plan. Building relationships with key stakeholders in the media and government to support marketing and public relations activities. Assisting in the development and implementation of brand-building activities like initiatives, ideas, schedules, managerial and other tools that can enhance brand image. Training employees on the appropriate social behaviour can enhance the organisation\'s image both at social media and corporate vents. Providing guidance and direction to the PR team and partners to ensure that communication is accurate, timely, relevant, informative, and complete. Guiding to ensure coordination of messages and other communications are handled in harmony with the organisation\'s policy. Developing an online communications strategy to ensure alignment between the online content, company policy, and information presented by the employees. Leading the internal communication resources to ensure the corporate communication plan is adhered to. Prepare articles and press releases for the media. Ensure the company protects and promotes its image in a proper, coordinated, and consistent manner. Cultivate and enhance collaborative working relationships within the press and publicity community. Manage the flow of news about the organisation to the media. Gather and disseminate timely information to press and staff. Plan and oversee press events. Detect public relations issues as they emerge and address them directly. Research and write briefing materials. Assemble press kits. Compose and edit press releases, company literature, and articles for internal and external use. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor\'s degree in journalism, public relations, international relations, marketing, or any relevant friend. Work experience in handling press releases. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Knowledge of crisis management. Ability to work under pressure and cope well in adverse situations. Creative and innovative.
