Role Summary:
The Marketing Specialist is a on-site role that combines marketing execution (90%) with administrative support (10%). This position is pivotal in driving marketing initiatives, managing leads, coordinating events, and ensuring smooth operations across marketing and administrative functions. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Responsibilities (90%)

  • Manage website leads, email inbox leads, and Salesforce marketing queue leads, ensuring timely qualification and follow-up.
  • Oversee lead qualification processes to ensure alignment with sales and marketing goals.
  • Administer the DCC portal and ensure accurate and efficient data management.
  • Coordinate marketing operations, including logistics for events, marketing collateral management, printing, and catalog management.
  • Drive marketing efforts for ZEISS Academy India, including planning and execution of campaigns.
  • Plan, organize, and manage webinars, customer events, and tradeshows for service and application teams.
  • Provide event management support for customer-facing events and internal tradeshows.
  • Handle vendor management for services required for marketing activities, including raising purchase requisitions (PRs) and submitting documents for payment processing.
Administrative Responsibilities (10%)
  • Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for the Central Admin Team.
  • Manage and maintain business partner documents and NDA documentation.
  • Coordinate IQS Division festival celebrations and related activities.
  • Until a new colleague joins, handle and train the successor on:
  • Cab bookings, hotel bookings, and conference room scheduling for management.
  • Acting as a liaison and coordinating on behalf of management.
Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in CRM tools like Salesforce for lead management and reporting.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., webinar tools, email marketing tools).
  • Event planning and coordination expertise, including vendor management and logistics.
  • Basic knowledge of procurement processes (e.g., PR raising, payment documentation).
Soft Skills:
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for vendor and stakeholder coordination.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Experience & Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5 to 6 years of experience in marketing operations, event coordination, or a similar role.
  • Experience in B2B industrial or manufacturing domains is preferred.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
