As we build the foundation of our business, we are looking for a Head of Operations to lead and scale our operational backbone. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of student travel from the ground up.
Role Overview
The Marketing & Sales Lead will be responsible for launching and scaling customer acquisition through both direct (B2C) and partner-driven (B2B) channels across multiple geographies. You'll design and execute the GTM plan, lead the charge on lead generation, conversion, and partnerships, and be the voice of the customer in our early growth phase.
Key Responsibilities:
Go-to-Market Strategy & Execution
Develop and execute the GTM plan across digital, community, and partner-led channels.
Define customer personas, value propositions, and messaging frameworks tailored for the 16-23 age group and their parents. Create launch strategies for new programs and destinations.
B2C Growth (Direct-to-Student & Parent)
Build and own the direct marketing and sales funnel -- from awareness to conversion. Plan and manage campaigns across digital channels (paid social, search, influencers, email, content). Develop a strong lead nurturing engine using CRM and marketing automation tools. Set up and scale inside sales / admissions team to convert leads into paying customers.
B2B Growth (Schools, Counselors, Agents)
Identify and develop a network of school partners, counselors, and international agents. Design partner programs, incentive structures, and onboarding processes. Represent the company in education fairs, school events, and partner meetings.
Brand & Community Building
Drive early brand awareness through authentic storytelling, user-generated content, and youth ambassadors. Build a community around travel, impact, and self-discovery via events, social content, and alumni engagement.
Revenue & KPI Ownership
Own monthly sign-up, revenue, and CAC targets. Use data to measure channel performance and optimize conversion funnels. Prepare weekly and monthly reporting for leadership and board.
What We're Looking For:
Experience & Skills
6+ years of experience in growth, marketing, or sales roles -- ideally in B2C or youth-focused businesses (edtech, travel, e-learning, youth mobility). Demonstrated success in launching and scaling customer acquisition programs from scratch. Deep experience in performance marketing and/or direct sales (inside or admissions-style). Experience working with CRM and marketing automation platforms (e.g. HubSpot, Salesforce, ActiveCampaign). Strong copywriting and messaging skills tailored to Gen Z audiences and their parents.
