The Sales Head will lead the overall sales strategy, business development, and client relationship management for the company's construction projects/products. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, managing key accounts, and building a high-performance sales team.
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business targets (annual/quarterly).
Identify new business opportunities in residential, commercial, and infrastructure sectors.
Conduct market analysis to identify trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
Create sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports for leadership review.
B. Business Development
Build relationships with builders, contractors, architects, consultants, government bodies, and corporate clients.
Drive lead generation and conversion for large-scale construction projects.
Negotiate and close high-value deals ensuring profitability and long-term partnerships.
Represent the company in industry events, exhibitions, and client meetings.
C. Team Management
Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team across regions.
Set performance targets and monitor KPIs.
Conduct training programs to enhance product knowledge, negotiation skills, and sales techniques.
Recruit and onboard new sales talent as required.
D. Client Relationship Management
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Resolve client issues promptly in coordination with project, technical, and execution teams.
Maintain strong communication with key decision-makers throughout project lifecycles.
E. Coordination & Reporting
Collaborate with Marketing, Project Execution, Procurement, and Finance teams.
Prepare weekly/monthly MIS reports, sales dashboards, and pipeline updates.
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
3. Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred).
8-10+ years
of sales experience in construction, real estate, EPC, building materials, or infrastructure sectors.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
Experience managing large teams and key accounts.
Strong understanding of construction contracting processes, pricing, tendering, and project sales.
