The Head of Sales & Marketing is responsible for leading and overseeing all sales and marketing functions, driving business growth through strategic planning, effective team management, market development, and customer engagement. This role combines leadership, analytical, and strategic skills to meet revenue goals, expand market presence, and ensure brand consistency.
Key Responsibilities
:
Strategic Leadership
Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies aligned with business goals.
Analyze market trends, competitor behavior, and customer insights to guide strategic decisions.
Collaborate with executive leadership to set revenue targets, pricing strategies, and market expansion plans.
Sales Management
Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing sales team to achieve individual and team targets.
Develop and track KPIs and performance metrics to monitor progress and take corrective actions.
Establish sales processes, forecasts, pipelines, and reporting systems.
Marketing Leadership
Oversee the development and execution of brand, product, and digital marketing strategies.
Guide campaigns across multiple channels (digital, traditional, BTL/ATL, etc.) to ensure strong brand visibility and lead generation.
Work with product development, design, and customer success teams to ensure cohesive messaging and positioning.
Revenue & Business Growth
Drive business development initiatives to acquire new clients and enter new markets.
Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and customer retention.
Manage key client relationships and high-level negotiations.
Team & Budget Management
Lead and manage cross-functional teams in marketing and sales departments.
Develop and control the annual sales & marketing budget to ensure cost-effectiveness.
Ensure timely recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of team members.
Qualifications
:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
10+ years of progressive experience in sales and marketing roles, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Deep understanding of digital marketing, market research, and brand positioning.
Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
Analytical mindset with proficiency in CRM and marketing automation tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
