Role Summary



We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Executive to manage the complete sales lifecycle for iBoss ERP. This is a field-focused sales role targeting Arts and Science colleges across Tamil Nadu, with responsibility from lead generation to deal closure.

The role demands independence, strong field execution, and consistent closing ability.

1. Key Responsibilities1. Lead Generation & Sales Execution (Primary)

Identify and prospect Arts and Science colleges across Tamil Nadu Generate leads through cold calling, outbound outreach, referrals, and field visits Fix appointments with key decision-makers including Principals, IQAC members, and NAAC Coordinators Conduct on-site product demonstrations and sales meetings Independently negotiate and close ERP sales opportunities Cross-sell related products and services where applicable
2. Field Sales & Relationship Management

Travel frequently within Chennai and across Tamil Nadu for college visits Build and maintain strong professional relationships with institutional leadership Act as the primary sales point of contact through closure and initial handover Identify opportunities for long-term account growth and upselling
3. Pipeline & Performance Tracking

Maintain a structured and disciplined sales pipeline Track and report leads, meetings, forecasts, and closures accurately Capture market intelligence including competitor activity, pricing trends, and common objections

Mandatory Requirements



Language:

Native or professional fluency in Tamil (spoken) and working proficiency in English

Experience:

1 - 5 years in field sales with a proven track record of closing deals independently

Skills:

Strong negotiation, presentation, and objection-handling abilities

Mobility:

Willingness to travel extensively across Tamil Nadu

Work Style:

Self-driven, target-oriented, and capable of operating without close supervision

The interview process for this role consists of

three stages

Initial Phone Screening:

A short discussion to assess communication skills, relevant sales experience, and role fit.

Virtual Interview:

A detailed conversation to evaluate sales approach, field experience, and ability to manage the end-to-end sales cycle independently.

Final Face-to-Face Interview:

An in-person meeting to assess field readiness, practical sales understanding, and overall alignment with the role.
Candidates will progress to the next stage based on performance in each round.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
