The Marketing Manager will lead, plan, and execute institution-wide marketing and admissions strategies to strengthen the Velammal Nexus brand, drive student enrolments, and ensure consistent positioning across all campuses. The role requires strategic thinking, team leadership, data-driven decision-making, and close coordination with academic and administrative leadership.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Marketing & Admissions Planning
Develop and implement annual and campus-wise marketing and admissions strategies.
Define admission targets in coordination with management and principals.
Plan marketing budgets, calendars, and campaign roadmaps.
Monitor market trends, competitor positioning, and parent expectations.
2. Brand Management & Communication
Ensure uniform brand identity and messaging across all Velammal Nexus campuses.
Oversee creation and approval of marketing collaterals, advertisements, and digital content.
Maintain institutional reputation through consistent and professional communication.
Act as custodian of brand guidelines.
3. Digital Marketing & Lead Management
Oversee digital marketing initiatives including social media, Google Ads, website campaigns, and CRM tools.
Track online lead generation, source-wise performance, and conversion ratios.
Work closely with digital agencies and internal teams to optimize ROI.
Analyze campaign data and prepare actionable insights for management.
4. Admissions & Outreach Oversight
Supervise admissions teams and marketing executives across campuses.
Ensure standard enquiry handling, counselling, and follow-up processes.
Plan and execute open houses, school events, exhibitions, and roadshows.
Develop partnerships with preschools, corporates, and community organizations.
5. Team Leadership & Coordination
Recruit, train, and manage marketing and admissions staff.
Set KPIs, conduct periodic performance reviews, and provide coaching.
Coordinate with principals, academic heads, and HR for smooth execution.
Ensure compliance with institutional policies and SOPs.
6. Reporting, MIS & Governance
Prepare consolidated admission and marketing MIS reports.
Present performance dashboards and strategic updates to management.
Ensure documentation, data accuracy, and audit readiness.
Recommend corrective actions and process improvements.
Qualifications & Experience
Postgraduate / Graduate in Marketing, Management, Business Administration, or related discipline.
8-15 years of experience in educational marketing, admissions, or institutional branding.
Prior experience managing multi-campus or group-level operations preferred.
Exposure to CBSE / State Board school marketing is highly desirable.
