Reporting To: Head of Marketing / VP - Sales & Marketing
Location: Project / Plant / Regional Office
Job Purpose
To plan, execute, and monitor
project-specific marketing activities for TMT bars
, ensuring strong brand visibility, demand generation, channel partner activation, and achievement of sales targets in project, institutional, and trade segments.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Marketing Strategy
Develop and implement
project-wise marketing plans
for TMT bars aligned with sales targets.
Identify target segments:
infrastructure projects, contractors, builders, government & institutional buyers
.
Coordinate with sales teams for project pipeline planning.
2. Lead Generation & Demand Creation
Generate qualified leads from
projects, EPC contractors, real estate developers, and infrastructure companies
.
Support sales team in
conversion of enquiries into orders
.
Track lead funnel and conversion ratios.
3. Brand Building & Visibility
Plan and execute
ATL / BTL activities
: hoardings, dealer boards, site branding, van campaigns.
Ensure strong
brand presence at construction sites, project locations, and dealer outlets
.
Manage branding materials: brochures, technical datasheets, POP materials.
4. Channel Partner & Dealer Marketing
Appoint, develop, and engage
dealers, distributors, and channel partners
for project markets.
Conduct
dealer meets, mason meets, engineer meets, and contractor meets
.
Implement trade schemes, loyalty programs, and incentive campaigns.
5. Digital & Promotional Marketing
Execute
digital marketing campaigns
(Google, Meta, WhatsApp, lead portals) focused on project leads.
Monitor campaign ROI, cost per lead, and engagement metrics.
Coordinate with agencies for creatives and campaign execution.
6. Budget Planning & Control
Prepare
project marketing budgets
and ensure effective utilization.
Monitor expenses and ensure activities are within approved budgets.
Evaluate ROI for all marketing initiatives.
7. Market Intelligence & Competition Analysis
Track competitor pricing, schemes, branding activities, and market share.
Collect market feedback on product quality, service, and brand perception.
Share actionable insights with management and sales teams.
8. Coordination & Reporting
Work closely with
sales, production, logistics, and finance teams
to ensure smooth execution.
Prepare and submit
weekly/monthly MIS reports
on marketing activities and outcomes.
Support management with data-driven insights and recommendations.
9. Compliance & Brand Guidelines
Ensure all marketing communication complies with
company brand guidelines
.
Maintain ethical marketing practices and statutory compliance where applicable.
Required Qualifications & Experience
MBA / PGDM in Marketing (preferred) or relevant graduate degree.
5-10 years of experience
in marketing of
TMT bars / steel / building materials
.
Strong exposure to
project sales & institutional marketing
.
Knowledge of construction industry, EPC projects, and tendering environment.
