Sales / After-Sales Manager
to strengthen customer engagement, manage client requirements, and support business growth.
This role involves close coordination with customers, internal teams, and leadership to ensure smooth operations--whether in sales, after-sales, or service--based on business priorities.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategies to achieve
sales and service objectives
in line with company goals.
Identify, engage, and manage relationships with
key customers, suppliers, and stakeholders
.
Handle
after-sales services
including installation, site visits, commissioning, and technical support.
Ensure
timely response and resolution
of customer issues and complaints.
Manage and track
warranty claims, service requests, and open complaints
until closure.
Coordinate with
technical, production, and quality teams
to ensure efficient resolutions.
Stay in regular contact with
Indian Railways and other clients
to understand requirements and anticipate service needs.
Guide and support
regional sales/service teams
to maintain consistent standards.
Maintain and update
records of complaints, service visits, open orders, and resolutions
.
Prepare and share
periodic reports
on sales performance, service status, and customer feedback.
Collect and communicate
market insights and field feedback
to improve product offerings and business strategies.
Support
marketing and business development activities
by sharing real-time customer intelligence.
Ensure adherence to
safety, compliance, and quality protocols
in all customer interactions.
Desired Skills & Competencies
Strong understanding of
sales processes, after-sales service, and customer relationship management
.
Excellent
negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
.
Proficiency in
CRM tools, reporting systems, and MS Office applications
.
Ability to
analyze performance metrics
and implement process improvements.
Strong
leadership and team management
skills.
Ability to handle high-pressure situations while maintaining a
customer-first approach
.
Knowledge of
railway/engineering products, safety systems, or mobility solutions
(preferred).
Willingness to travel to client sites across India.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in
Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
.
5-10 years of experience
in sales, after-sales, or customer support roles within
manufacturing, railways, automotive, or industrial sectors
.
Proven record of managing
key accounts, customer service, and business development activities
.
