As a
Marketing Manager
, you will support the development and execution of the local portfolio marketing strategy in collaboration with the Associate Director - Marketing (Obesity and Key Accounts). You will lead the planning and rollout of marketing campaigns and enable effective sales execution to achieve both short- and long-term business objectives.
You will act as a
brand champion
, driving internal alignment and enthusiasm while working closely with external customers, partners, and agencies. A strong understanding of disease areas and market dynamics is essential to generate meaningful customer insights using appropriate tools and techniques.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze, interpret, and translate market insights into clear, targeted brand messaging and proactive marketing and promotional strategies aligned with customer needs and brand objectives.
Leverage multi-channel and digital platforms to effectively communicate key brand messages to the target audience.
Develop annual, cyclic, and brand action plans to meet defined business goals.
Design and execute innovative marketing campaigns that support sales force effectiveness and business growth.
Coordinate with external agencies to deliver brand initiatives and ensure timely, high-quality execution.
Maintain continuous engagement with internal stakeholders and external customers to drive alignment and insight generation.
Lead and support new product launches in line with local strategies and regional approvals.
Ensure all activities are conducted in compliance with ethical standards, company policies, and governance frameworks.
Skills & Qualifications
Master's degree in Management (MBA) from a reputed institution, with a graduation background in Science or Pharmaceuticals.
7-10 years
of experience in core pharmaceutical marketing and sales roles.
Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Experience in consumer-focused and digital marketing, including digital campaign activation.
Proven track record in strategic planning, execution, and follow-through, supported by a creative and innovative mindset.
Strong operational excellence with attention to detail and execution quality.
* Experience in client- or customer-facing roles will be an added advantage.
