About the Team We serve high quality content to millions of consumers across millions of devices, all of which is constantly evolving and changing. As we keep scaling, we will grow our user base of paid as well as freemium users through impactful, data-driven and creative marketing. As the driving force behind Movie marketing, you will be responsible for driving affinity towards awareness and anticipation for Movie releases on Disney+ Hotstar and paid user and freemium user adoption. You will create and deploy a marketing strategy that will position Disney+ Hotstar as the platform with the biggest blockbusters in India and make it the default platform of choice for movie lovers. You will be executing Disney+ Hotstar's vision of building an entertainment destination intrinsic to the lives of consumers.YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Led and built best-in-class content marketing campaigns for Movie releases on Hotstar - Direct to Digital and Post-theatrical titles, to build high ITW (intent to watch) and ITS (intent to subscribe). Generate top-of-funnel viewer sampling and subscription conversions. Work cross-functionally with Platform, Content, Social, PR, Digital, and Creative Communication teams to develop marketing creatives and ideas and collaborate with Production houses and Talent to build and execute campaigns that build massive buzz and make our titles and platform stand apart in a crowded market. Lead the campaign strategy and development workflow to deliver campaign goals. Measure the performance of movie marketing campaigns and make timely adjustments to improve the marketing outcomes and make relevant recommendations to improve our promotion strategy. Collaborate with analytics /product/growth teams to develop frameworks & analytical models to predict outcomes (viewership growth or subscription growth) on the back of differential marketing investments to maximize ROI and optimize CAC on marketing campaigns. Manage multiple time-sensitive projects simultaneously and solve the key challenges of quality and quantity from a marketing perspective. WHAT TO BRING You love entertainment and consume ridiculous amounts of content - Movies, Shows. You are a thought-leader with a strong and well-informed point of view to critically analyze the latest trends and tactics to help grow earned media. At least 8 years of experience in building strategic and creative consumer marketing campaigns, preferably with a background in entertainment media (TV and/or film) or worked with a top innovative brand, advertising or media agency with an emphasis on long form Content Marketing. Have a deep understanding of consumer insights and how they are translated into creative strategy and campaigns. Have deep knowledge in running a 360-campaign, from strategy development to tactical execution (including AV/trailers, digital/social, print and out-of-home). Understanding of the digital ecosystem, current marketing trends in acquisition as well as brand-building, marketing opportunities. Should understand analytics - marketing, social and media - to evaluate performance and impact of creative campaigns to aid optimization of marketing campaigns. Is a cross-functional leader who can engage, listen and collaborate with internal teams to align on overall strategy and goals as well as creative partners including production houses and talent. Ability to manage multiple time-sensitive projects simultaneously working both independently and in close collaboration with a variety of stakeholders. Are unafraid to take risks and can pivot without getting stalled by challenges along the way.
