With early adoption of free home sample collection services, Medilab focuses on accessibility, reliability, and operational excellence in diagnostic healthcare.

Role Overview

The Marketing Manager / Executive will be responsible for driving growth through ethical marketing practices, strong doctor and institutional relationships, patient-centric outreach, and local market engagement. The role involves a combination of field marketing, relationship management, sales support, and digital coordination, aligned with healthcare regulations and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities & Skills

The candidate must be able to communicate Medilab's services clearly and accurately while adhering to NABL standards, ethical marketing norms, and patient confidentiality requirements.

Strong B2B and referral marketing capability is essential, with the ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with doctors, clinics, hospitals, nursing homes, and corporate wellness partners. The role includes managing referral networks, institutional tie-ups, and supporting CME programs, doctor interactions, and outreach initiatives.

A strong patient-centric marketing approach is required, with experience in local market activation through health camps, community programs, and preventive health awareness initiatives. Sensitivity to patient trust, service quality, and ethical healthcare communication is critical.

The position also involves sales and revenue responsibilities, including lead generation, conversion, package positioning, basic pricing discussions, and meeting monthly or quarterly targets. The candidate should be able to track performance metrics, improve conversion efficiency, and optimize customer acquisition costs.

Basic knowledge of digital and online marketing is expected, including Google Business Profile management, website lead coordination, social media communication (healthcare-appropriate), and online appointment booking systems. While hands-on execution is not mandatory, the ability to coordinate with agencies and internal teams is important.

Strong communication and presentation skills are required to engage effectively with doctors, corporates, and patients, including proposal preparation and institutional presentations. The candidate should be comfortable with data tracking and MIS reporting, including lead sources, referral performance, campaign outcomes, and basic CRM or Excel-based reporting.

Strict adherence to compliance and ethical marketing practices is mandatory, with a clear understanding of permissible and non-permissible diagnostic advertising, data privacy, and confidentiality standards.

Local market familiarity is essential, with strong knowledge of the Kochi / Ernakulam healthcare ecosystem and willingness to maintain regular field presence.
