As

Marketing Manager - Key Accounts, Obesity

, you will play a critical role in driving initiatives that support the development and growth of the obesity therapy market. You will be responsible for scoping, planning, executing, and evaluating strategic initiatives related to obesity therapies and brand partnerships across B2B and B2C platforms, with the goal of improving access, awareness, and care delivery for millions of individuals affected by obesity in India.


Key Responsibilities




Strategic Planning and Brand Development




Develop and implement comprehensive strategic plans for obesity therapies and brand initiatives, including opportunity assessment, objective setting, key account planning, and activity coordination. Drive alignment across cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive execution and long-term market development. Monitor key performance indicators, proactively identify risks, and manage budgets to ensure effective and timely delivery of initiatives.

Stakeholder Engagement




Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals, and internal stakeholders to generate insights, foster advocacy, and strengthen presence within obesity-focused care settings. Act as a strategic partner to key accounts, enabling long-term collaboration and shared value creation.

Business Development and Partnership Management




Identify and evaluate new business opportunities within private, corporate, and institutional environments. Initiate, negotiate, and manage strategic partnerships and alliances, ensuring alignment with organizational value propositions and long-term objectives. Oversee the full lifecycle of partnership agreements, from concept through execution and evaluation.

Care Support and Market Enablement




Lead initiatives that support healthcare professionals in building and enhancing high-quality obesity care models and clinics. Scale best-practice frameworks and collaborate closely with marketing, market access, and medical teams to improve care pathways, patient support services, and overall treatment adoption.

About the Function




The obesity market in India remains significantly underpenetrated, with a substantial gap between disease prevalence and access to medical treatment due to stigma, lack of awareness, and systemic barriers. This role sits within a high-impact marketing and market development function focused on reducing these barriers, expanding access to evidence-based obesity treatments, and driving sustainable market growth nationwide.


Skills & Qualifications




Master's degree in Management (MBA) from a reputed institution, with a graduation background in Science or Pharmaceuticals.

5-7 years

of marketing experience in multinational pharmaceutical or FMCG organizations, with demonstrated success in planning and executing complex, multi-channel campaigns. Prior exposure to weight management programs, e-commerce initiatives, digital health solutions, or digital therapeutics is highly desirable. Strong capability in developing business cases, pitch decks, and value-based presentations to support strategic decision-making. Proven experience in market development, partnership building, contracting, and managing pharmacy, digital health, or e-health channels. Experience launching new drug classes or leading innovative product introductions is an advantage. Excellent key account management and stakeholder engagement skills. * Role based in
