The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing marketing strategies that promote the institution's academic programs, increase student enrollment, and enhance the institution's reputation. The role focuses on student recruitment, brand management, digital marketing, and stakeholder engagement, working closely with admissions, academic departments, and external partners.
Develop and execute marketing plans aligned with institutional goals and enrollment targets
Create annual marketing calendars and campaign plans for admissions cycles
Identify target student segments (local, international, undergraduate, postgraduate, etc.)
Ensure marketing strategies reflect the institution's mission and values
Student Recruitment & Admissions Support
Support student recruitment efforts through lead generation and conversion campaigns
Work closely with the admissions team to track inquiries, applications, and enrollments
Develop recruitment materials such as prospectuses, brochures, and presentations
Promote open days, school fairs, campus tours, and recruitment events
Digital Marketing & Online Presence
Manage the institution's website content and ensure accuracy and relevance
Oversee social media platforms and digital engagement strategies
Plan and manage online advertising campaigns (search, display, and social media ads)
Monitor SEO performance and website traffic to improve visibility and inquiries
Brand & Communications
Maintain consistent branding across all marketing and communication materials
Develop clear messaging for academic programs and institutional achievements
Oversee content creation, including articles, videos, newsletters, and student testimonials
Manage internal and external communications related to marketing initiatives
Market Research & Data Analysis
Conduct market research on student preferences, education trends, and competitor institutions
Analyze campaign results, inquiry data, and enrollment metrics
Prepare reports and recommendations to improve marketing effectiveness
Teamwork & Collaboration
Lead and support marketing staff or coordinate with cross-functional teams
Collaborate with academic departments to understand and promote programs accurately
Work with alumni, student services, and communications teams on engagement initiatives
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, MBA or a related field
5+ years of experience in marketing,
Preferably within an educational institution
Strong understanding of student recruitment and enrollment marketing
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in Marketing, Education Management, or related field
Experience with CRM systems and marketing automation tools
Knowledge of international student recruitment and education markets
