Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute practice development strategies to support the growth of various practice areas.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and targeted outreach.
Build, nurture, and maintain strong relationships with current and potential clients.
Conduct capability presentations, client engagement conversations, and proposal discussions to showcase the firm's expertise.
Collaborate closely with partners, attorneys, marketing teams, and operations to align business development objectives with practice goals.
Prepare and deliver proposals, pitch decks, agreements, and related documentation in accordance with firm standards.
Track industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities to support strategic planning.
Maintain accurate and updated records of leads, opportunities, and client interactions using CRM systems.
Provide periodic reports, dashboards, and forecasts to senior management on pipeline progress and performance.
Represent the firm at networking events, seminars, conferences, and professional forums.
Coordinate practice-specific campaigns, client outreach initiatives, and thought-leadership activities.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (MBA is a plus).
Proven experience in business development, practice development, or sales within a legal, consulting, or professional services environment.
Strong relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills.
Strategic thinking with the ability to identify and capitalize on business opportunities.
Professional, client-focused attitude with excellent presentation skills.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office, and business development analytics.
