The Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and executing comprehensive, multi-channel marketing strategies to promote MTG's portfolio of educational books and digital products. This role requires a strategic thinker with hands-on experience in both traditional and digital marketing, a deep understanding of the educational sector, and a proven ability to achieve strong market positioning, drive sales growth, and manage full-scale market expansion efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute integrated marketing plan covering both print and digital products focusing on competitive positioning and market share growth.
Can think same various products marketing plan for same target audience.
Conduct continuous market research and competitive analysis to identify market trends, customer needs (students, parents, educators, schools), and untapped growth opportunities.
Define the core target audience segments and develop tailored, high-impact marketing strategies for each segment like NEET, JEE, CBSE, Olympiads.
Establish clear Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and ROI metrics for all marketing activities and report on performance to the leadership team.
Plan, manage, and execute end-to-end promotional campaigns across various channels, including Traditional Marketing and Digital Marketing
Understand the requirement of marketing collateral from sales department at each phase and oversee the development of all marketing collateral
Manage the marketing budget effectively, ensuring optimal allocation of resources for maximum impact.
Develop strategies to significantly improve brand recall and positioning of MTG Books as the preferred choice for competitive exam preparation.
Plan and execute successful new book launches and re-launches, including messaging, positioning, and promotional timelines.
Develop core product messaging and value propositions that clearly articulate the benefits of MTG books over competitor titles.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in marketing, with a significant portion in the Educational Publishing or Ed Tech sector.
Demonstrated experience in developing and executing integrated marketing strategies (combining traditional and digital channels) for physical and digital educational products.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data, campaign performance metrics, and sales figures to make data-driven decisions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for compelling copy writing, presentation, and collaboration.
Proven ability to manage budgets, negotiate with vendors, and lead complex projects from concept to completion.
Deep understanding of the competition in Indian educational publishing market.
Proficiency in key marketing tools (e.g., CRM systems, Google Analytics, marketing automation platforms, and MS Office Suite).
