About the Role
The Marketing Manager will own the end-to-end marketing strategy and execution for WTM Spotlight India, the first India edition of the World Travel Market portfolio. The role is responsible for driving buyer and exhibitor growth, building market relevance, executing integrated campaigns, and ensuring alignment with WTM's global brand and portfolio strategy.
This is a high-ownership role requiring strong execution discipline, sound commercial judgment, and the ability to operate confidently in a global, matrixed environment.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute the marketing strategy for WTM Spotlight India, aligned with EVP and portfolio objectives, including market sizing and growth opportunities.
Define and deliver buyer and exhibitor acquisition goals through integrated campaigns across paid, owned, and earned channels.
Plan, activate, and optimise campaigns in collaboration with other teams, using weekly performance reviews and data-led decisions.
Drive audience growth through partnerships with associations, industry bodies, influencers, analysts, and media.
Lead content planning and execution across newsletters, speaker promotion, thought leadership, exhibitor toolkits, and social channels, ensuring global brand alignment.
Partner with Sales on ABM initiatives, sales enablement, and exhibitor ROI-driven marketing programs.
Lead onsite marketing execution and represent the brand at industry events, ensuring strong pre-show, onsite, and post-show engagement.
Manage stakeholders, agencies, budgets, performance reporting, and PR collaboration to ensure consistent brand quality and measurable outcomes.
Requirements
8-10 years of marketing experience in exhibitions, large conferences, or comparable B2B platforms, with exposure to travel and tourism preferred.
Experience in market analysis, campaign management, and strategic planning
Experience launching or scaling a new event or market is strongly preferred.
Strong command of integrated marketing, digital campaigns, and content-led engagement.
Comfortable working with data, dashboards, and performance metrics.
Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and agencies in a matrixed environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
