About this role
Purpose of the role: You work alongside the Global Marketing Teams on existing opportunities and on identifying the next round of rich territorities.
You identify new opportunities, secure business buy in, develop the plans and then bring to market. This includes working across marketing, trading and sales channels internally and leading externally with marketing agencies and chosen partners. You own discrete pieces of work in a specific field of responsibility. You design and improve working processes. You work with a group of people and maintain relationships. You may manage and develop an operational team. You implement specific campaigns in line with commercial and marketing objectives. You coordinate across the wider team to make sure all campaign activity is aligned. You work with marketing colleagues to define and deliver best practise marketing You'll have the following responsibilities

  • You support Global Marketing teams in data and automation strategy.
  • Responsible for owning the Oracle Eloqua system including administration, integration to CRM (Salesforce) and usage.
  • You own the marketing contact data, enrich existing contact data from external sources where appropriate, recommend policy and system changes to improve contact quality and campaign effectiveness, set and publicise standards for contact data quality and set standard contact data quality measures in place for the relevant marketing Units.
  • You develop and refine a strong Lead Scoring Model including dashboard reporting.
  • You deliver targeted CRM campaigns to achieve desired customer/prospect engagement level, proactively identify problems, and measure performance by developing new self-serve automated reports and dashboards with team.
  • You improve business efficiency and reporting capability by streamlining the campaign planning and delivery.
  • You understand and implement the GDPR data protection policy and advise on the impact of future changes.
  • You provide thought leadership on MarTech to make marketing campaigns more effective by generating greater pipeline and creating greater brand visibility for the organization.
  • You liaison with cross functiontions and direct the team to deliver and help identify potential upskilling opportunities.
  • You work across the team to execute marketing plans within your own area and measures, identifying areas for growth across channels to market
  • You support the development of the overall acquisition plan for new opportunities.
  • You own and deliver communications and content for campaign programmes in your area, collaborating with other teams and using segmentation and insight to contribute to achievement of financial results
  • You gather and act on consumer and customer insights, and develop and help with the execution of bespoke and innovative customer offers
  • You monitor day to day projects and activities with suppliers, agencies and internal teams to to make sure that major marketing programmes are successful
  • You manage a team to implement the marketing plan for the area, including allocating responsibilities and implementing business improvements.
  • Drive promotional efforts by running omnichannel digital marketing campaigns, including (not limited to) web, email, webinar, social channels
  • Set clear campaigns goals, metrics, and performance management KPIs, defining key milestones for campaign launch and follow-up, including cross-functional stakeholder alignment
  • Collaborate and coordinate campaign execution across global marketing functions with various teams, including sales, Insight sales, content, design, brand, digital, website, field events, paid media, corporate marketing and marketing operations teams
  • Accountable for career development and mentoring of team members, ensuring business continuity.
  • Drive efficiency through implementation of CI tools and Techniques
You'll have the following skills & experience
Skills:
  • Campaign planning - You use insights to develop creative campaigns which bring our brands to life. You review and report on campaign impact and effectiveness.
  • Product and service knowledge - You demonstrate subject matter expertise in complex, technical infrastructure, products and services. You develop bespoke solutions to meet short, medium and long-term customer needs.
  • Marketing communications - You develop multi-channel marketing communications to maximise engagement. You make sure our messaging is consistent and well written. You review and report on the impact and effectiveness of our communications.
  • Customer insight - You build and apply deep knowledge of our customers, their context and preferences. You analyse and evaluate data to identify and maximise sales opportunities and generate recommendations.
  • Be tech savvy - You partner with other areas of the business and other organisations to develop understanding of new technologies and how they're used.
  • Agency management - You develop work performance criteria, technical requirements and service specifications for agency relationships to make sure that marketing communications and campaigns are successfully designed and delivered. You review performance issues and work with agencies to address them.
  • Relationship Management- Able to create & enhance strong, effective, collaborative and trustworthy working relationships with stakeholders & internal teams
  • Commercial Acumen- Strong commercial analytical & insight capabilities to enable recommendation of the right course of action
  • Analytical & Data driven- Able to analyse data and draw commercial insight & analysis to drive decisions and business change with senior functional stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills at multiple organisational levels.
Self motivated, articulate and ‘can-do’ attitude
Experience:
  • Actively participated in strategy setting sessions
  • Aligned project plans and objectives with BT strategy and values
  • To suit the needs of a customer, colleague or client; moved outside of expected process or practice
  • Worked with people from other business locations or functions
  • Managed team of professionals

Qualifications:
  • Typically a degree and post graduate qualification in a related subject, e.g. Business, Marketing. (MBA preferred)
Experience:
  • At least 10 years of experience in Experience in Campaign Management, Marketing Communications, Data Management, Automation Platform (Prefrreably Eloqua), marketing channel management in large global organizations.
Hands on experience of working on Marketing Automation Platforms (viz. Marketing Cloud tools like Google Cloud, Salesforce, Eloqua. etc)
