We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven
Marketing Manager - Cardio Metabolic (GLP)
to lead business and market development initiatives within the cardio-metabolic therapy area. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a leading multinational pharmaceutical organization focused on improving patient outcomes in diabetes and related metabolic disorders.
As a Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the development and execution of the local portfolio marketing strategy in collaboration with senior marketing leadership. You will drive impactful brand campaigns, enable sales execution, and contribute to both short- and long-term business growth. Acting as a brand champion, you will foster strong internal alignment and engage closely with external customers, partners, and agencies.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze, interpret, and translate market insights into clear, targeted marketing strategies and promotional initiatives aligned with brand objectives and customer needs.
Develop and execute an integrated marketing and promotional mix, leveraging multi-channel and digital tools to communicate key brand messages effectively.
Prepare annual, cyclic, and brand action plans to achieve defined business goals.
Design and implement innovative marketing campaigns that support sales force effectiveness and drive business performance.
Collaborate with external agencies to deliver marketing initiatives and ensure high-quality execution.
Maintain close engagement with internal stakeholders and external customers to gather insights and ensure alignment.
Lead and support new product launches in accordance with local strategies and regional approvals.
Ensure all activities are conducted in compliance with ethical standards, company policies, and governance frameworks.
Department Overview
The marketing team focuses on driving growth and innovation within the cardio-metabolic and GLP therapy areas. The team is responsible for portfolio marketing, business development, and market insight generation for both in-line and pipeline products. You will work within a high-performing, collaborative, and forward-thinking environment with strong commercial focus.
Skills & Qualifications
Master's degree in Management (MBA) from a reputed institution, with a graduation background in Science or Pharmaceuticals.
7-10 years
of experience in core pharmaceutical
marketing and sales
roles.
Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across internal and external stakeholders.
Experience in consumer and digital marketing, including digital campaign activation.
Proven ability in strategic planning, execution, and follow-up, with a creative and innovative mindset.
Strong operational excellence and execution orientation.
* Experience in client- or customer-facing roles will be an added advantage.
