The Market Intelligence Analyst will provide actionable data insights that inform strategic and tactical marketing decisions across the International business. This role owns all
marketing data, reporting, dashboards, and research
activities, targeted with centralising performance analysis and removing manual reporting and insight tasks from the wider marketing team.
The Market Intelligence Analyst will ensure that marketing activity is data-led, measurable, and aligned with the company's growth strategy. Working closely with the Marketing Director, Sales, Commercial and BI teams, this position will help shape decision-making through accurate analytics, performance measurement, and market intelligence.

. KEY RESULT AREAS
Market & Competitor Research
Conduct ongoing
market analysis
to identify trends, risks, and opportunities within key industry verticals (Automotive, Marine & Defence, Heavy Duty Truck, Manufacturing, etc.).
Manage
competitor intelligence
, tracking product launches, pricing, messaging, partnerships, and market positioning.
Support
market entry and expansion projects
with quantitative and qualitative research.
Produce structured
market intelligence reports
and executive summaries to support the growth strategy
Maintain a database of competitor profiles, key accounts, and global market indicators.
Performance Reporting & KPI Management
Develop and maintain the
marketing performance measurement framework
to track ROI across all channels, campaigns, and P&Ls.
Build and manage
dashboards
and automated reports for leadership visibility, including campaign impact, funnel performance, lead conversion, and content engagement from multiple systems and platforms (ERP, CRM, LinkedIn, Google Analytics / SEO).
Define, track, and report on
marketing KPIs
, including:
+ Campaign ROI
+ Lead generation and conversion rates
+ Digital engagement (traffic, CTRs, form fills, etc.)
+ Social and content performance
+ Event ROI and pipeline contribution Present insights and recommendations to the marketing and cross-functional teams to drive informed decision-making.

Data Management & Systems Integration
Ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance of marketing data across all systems.
Collaborate with the BI team to enhance system integrations and reporting automation.
Develop standardised data models and reporting templates for consistent usage across divisions.
Insight & Collaboration
Contribute to the development of the company's
Growth Hub
and Intranet Page
, enabling easy access to data and insights.
Drive adoption of BI tools and analytics best practices across the marketing function.

. KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED TO DO THE JOB
Essential:
3-5 years of experience in
business intelligence, data analysis, or marketing analytics
, ideally in a
B2B or industrial/manufacturing
environment.
Strong proficiency with Excel (advanced), and data visualisation.
Working knowledge of CRM and marketing automation platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce, Dynamics, etc.).
Ability to integrate and interpret data from multiple sources (web, CRM, ERP).
Experience with quantitative and qualitative
market research
and competitor analysis.
Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
Desirable:
Experience working with SQL or other data query languages.
Understanding of SEO, PPC, and digital marketing metrics.
Familiarity with ERP systems.
Experience in managing or contributing to BI dashboards in a global business context.
