Semifront Technologies is an emerging semiconductor company specializing in PCIe technology and advanced silicon design solutions for global clients. With engineering operations in Salt Lake City, Kolkata, and a sales presence in the San Francisco Bay Area, Semifront is part of the FABCI at IIT Hyderabad initiative by MEITY, Government of India.
This internship is for final-year engineering students (about to graduate) who want to bridge technical expertise with business functions. The focus is on engineering-driven sales and marketing with supporting exposure to HR/Admin tasks.
Role Overview
You will apply your engineering background to drive sales and marketing in the semiconductor and AI ecosystem while supporting HR/Admin activities.
80% focus:
Sales, Marketing & Technical Outreach
20% focus:
HR/Admin support
This is a desk-based role requiring structured execution with contributions to content, research, automation, and discussions that shape business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Marketing (~80%)
Use AI-driven tools & metrics to run campaigns, track leads, and optimize outreach
Research markets, competitors, and prospects in chip design & AI
Create/adapt technical content, case studies, and documentation for customers and partners
Support sales discussions, prepare presentations, and assist in product positioning
Translate technical concepts into impactful customer messaging
Explore light scripting/automation for data handling, reporting, or outreach
HR & Administrative (~20%)
Assist with recruitment tasks (job postings, coordination, scheduling)
Support onboarding, compliance, and employee records
Maintain HR trackers, prepare reports, and contribute to internal communication
Handle occasional administrative coordination
