Job Description

A Head of Marketing is a senior leadership role responsible for developing and executing a company's overall marketing strategy to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth. Key duties include leading the marketing team, managing budgets, overseeing all marketing campaigns (digital, social, content, advertising), conducting market research, and collaborating with other departments like sales and product development. This position requires a strong combination of strategic thinking, leadership, data analysis, and a deep understanding of marketing principles. Core responsibilities

Strategy and planning:

Develop and implement the company's long-term and short-term marketing strategies, goals, and budgets.

Brand management:

Shape and maintain the brand's image, positioning, and message across all channels.

Campaign execution:

Oversee the planning and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital, social media, content, and advertising.

Team leadership:

Lead, mentor, and motivate the marketing team to achieve departmental and company objectives.

Market analysis:

Conduct market research to identify new opportunities, analyze competitors, and understand customer needs and trends.

Performance analysis:

Track, analyze, and report on the performance and ROI of marketing initiatives, using data to optimize strategies.

Cross-functional collaboration:

Work closely with other departments, particularly sales and product development, to ensure alignment and synergy.
Key skills and qualifications

Proven track record in developing and executing successful marketing campaigns across multiple channels. Strong strategic, leadership, and communication skills. Expertise in data analysis and performance tracking. Familiarity with various marketing disciplines, such as digital marketing, content, and advertising. Ability to manage budgets effectively. A degree in marketing, business, or a related field is often required.
