Job Summary

The

Marketing Head

will be responsible for driving business growth for

HAUL Material Handling

by leading the national sales team, developing and managing a strong distributor network across India, and executing strategic marketing initiatives for material handling equipment including forklifts, pallet trucks, stackers, and related solutions.

This role requires a strong blend of

strategic planning, distributor management, sales leadership, and market expansion expertise

.

Key Responsibilities1. Sales Leadership & Team Management

Lead, mentor, and manage the

Pan-India sales team

Set sales targets, KPIs, and performance metrics for regional and area sales managers Monitor sales performance and ensure achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual targets Conduct regular sales reviews, training programs, and field visits Build a high-performance sales culture focused on growth and customer satisfaction
2. Distributor Development & Channel Expansion

Identify, appoint, and develop

authorized distributors/dealers across India

Define distributor onboarding processes, agreements, and performance benchmarks Strengthen existing distributor relationships and improve market penetration Ensure distributor compliance with company policies, branding, pricing, and service standards Support distributors with sales tools, training, and marketing initiatives
3. Marketing Strategy & Brand Development

Develop and execute

Pan-India marketing strategies

to increase brand visibility and market share Plan and oversee product launches, promotions, exhibitions, trade fairs (e.g., EXCON), and dealer meets Coordinate with digital marketing, branding, and communication teams Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to refine strategies
4. Business Development & Market Expansion

Identify new markets, industries, and large accounts for business growth Build relationships with key customers, consultants, and industry influencers Support key negotiations, large orders, and strategic accounts Drive cross-selling and upselling of HAUL Material Handling products
5. Planning, Reporting & Coordination

Prepare annual sales and marketing plans, budgets, and forecasts Provide regular MIS reports on sales performance, distributor health, and market trends Coordinate with operations, service, finance, and supply chain teams to ensure smooth execution Ensure alignment between sales commitments and operational capabilities
Desired Skills & Competencies

Strong leadership and people-management skills Proven expertise in

channel sales & distributor management

Strategic thinking with strong execution capability Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills Data-driven decision making and analytical ability Willingness to travel extensively across India
Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Marketing / Business Administration (MBA preferred)

10-15 years of experience

in Sales & Marketing Minimum

5+ years in a senior leadership role

Prior experience in

Material Handling Equipment, Industrial Machinery, Construction Equipment, or Capital Goods

is highly preferred Strong Pan-India distributor handling experience is mandatory
