Job Description

Job Purpose:

To support the NGO's mission by managing marketing and fundraising initiatives that build awareness, engage supporters, and generate resources for programs benefiting the community.

Key Responsibilities:

Research and identify potential donors, sponsors, and funding opportunities. Approach individuals, corporates, and institutions for financial support. Write grant proposals, sponsorship requests, and funding applications for donors and sponsors. Organise fundraising events and campaigns (online and offline).
Assist in planning and executing marketing and fundraising initiatives.

Create engaging content to highlight the NGO's work and impact.

Coordinate with vendors, sponsors, partners, and donors.

Support in organising fundraising events and donor drives.

Maintain and update donor records (e.g., eTapestry) and communication logs.

Build and maintain strong relationships with donors through regular communication, updates, and acknowledgements.

Collaborate with the communications/PR team to share stories and showcase impact.

Track and report fundraising progress against set targets.

Key Results Areas (KRA):

Smooth organisation and execution of fundraising campaigns and marketing events.

Timely and effective donor and sponsor communication.

Growth in donor engagement, sponsorships, and overall visibility of the NGO.

Accurate reporting and strong administrative support for fundraising activities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (BBA), Marketing, Communications, or related field.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Creativity and ability to manage social media and digital marketing.

Organisational and event coordination skills.

Ability to work with diverse stakeholders--sponsors, donors, and community members.

Passion for social change and commitment to the NGO's mission.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
