Master's Degree in Marketing / Agri-Business / MBA (Marketing) / Rural Management / Food Technology
Preference will be given to candidates with certifications in Digital Marketing or Agri Marketing
Experience:
Minimum
6 to 10 years
of relevant experience in agri-product marketing, especially millets or similar niche food commodities
Proven experience in
B2B/B2C
marketing, product branding, and market linkages
Key Responsibilities:
1. Market Development & Linkage
Develop and implement marketing strategies for raw, rice, and value-added millet products
Identify and establish partnerships with institutional buyers, modern retail chains, exporters, online platforms (e-commerce), and government departments
Organize buyer-seller meets, trade fairs, and millet-focused exhibitions
2. Branding & Promotion
Develop and promote a unified brand for millet-based products from Federations
Support in packaging design, labeling, and certifications (FSSAI, organic, millet logo,
Promote products through digital platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Amazon, ONDC, Flipkart, etc.) and local/regional marketing channels
3. Value Chain Analysis & Strategy
Assess value addition opportunities in products like millet cookies, snacks, flakes, ready-to-cook mixes, etc.
Prepare cost-benefit and market feasibility reports for new product launches
4. Market Intelligence & Monitoring
Maintain updated data on price trends, competitor analysis, and buyer preferences
Track sales, inventory, and performance of each product line
Key Skills:
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of markets, millet consumer trends, and agri-supply chains
Digital marketing and e-commerce understanding
Strategic thinking and execution ability
