Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Qualification
Identify and reach out to potential clients (SMEs, startups, scientific-technology companies) via cold calls, email, LinkedIn, and other channels.
Qualify leads based on interest, potential, budget, and needs.
Outbound Sales
Actively engage leads during US time window to generate opportunities.
Schedule meetings (virtual/in-person) between potential clients and GBSA's business development or support teams.
Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
Track all sales activities, calls, and lead status in CRM.
Maintain detailed and up-to-date records of prospects, pipeline, and progress.
Sales Collateral & Proposals
Work with internal teams to prepare presentations, proposals, and follow-up materials for potential clients.
Tailor messaging to align with GBSA's offerings (e.g., export support, R&D support, startup acceleration).
Liaison with Internal Teams
Coordinate with GBSA's business growth, export support, and innovation departments to ensure smooth handoff of qualified leads.
Communicate market feedback and customer needs to internal stakeholders.
Sales Targets & Reporting
Meet or exceed monthly / quarterly targets (leads generated, meetings set, deals closed).
Provide reports to Sales Manager / Head of Business Development.
Customer Service / Support
Serve as a first point of contact for inbound inquiries from potential clients in the US or globally.
Provide product / service information and follow up until conversion or disqualification.
Market Research
Research and analyze market trends relevant to GBSA-supported sectors (bio, semiconductor, startups, exports).
Identify new business opportunities and emerging companies that could benefit from GBSA's programs.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
Minimum
2 years
of inside sales experience in B2B environment.
Strong communication skills (written and spoken) -- ability to communicate with global (especially US) clients.
Experience working with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho).
Excellent negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in US-shift (4 PM - 1 AM) reliably.
Self-driven, goal-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced / start-up style organization.
