The Marketing Executive will be responsible for planning and executing marketing initiatives to enhance brand visibility, drive student admissions, and support institutional growth across Velammal Nexus schools. The role requires coordination with academic teams, digital partners, vendors, and parents.
Key Responsibilities
1. Admissions & Lead Generation
Support student admission campaigns across all assigned campuses.
Handle walk-in enquiries, phone enquiries, and online leads in coordination with the admissions team.
Conduct follow-ups with prospective parents and maintain enquiry records.
Participate in admission counseling and open-house events.
2. Marketing & Promotions
Plan and execute local marketing activities such as banners, hoardings, pamphlet distribution, and newspaper inserts.
Coordinate school-level promotional events, roadshows, and education fairs.
Liaise with vendors for printing, branding, and promotional materials.
Ensure brand guidelines of Velammal Nexus are strictly followed.
3. Digital Marketing Support
Coordinate with the digital marketing team for social media promotions, online ads, and campaign creatives.
Support content collection for social media posts, videos, testimonials, and success stories.
Track and report digital enquiry sources and campaign performance.
4. School & Community Engagement
Build relationships with local communities, preschools, coaching centers, apartments, and corporates.
Coordinate tie-ups and outreach programs for admission promotion.
Represent Velammal Nexus at external events and exhibitions.
5. Reporting & Documentation
Maintain daily/weekly admission and marketing activity reports.
Track conversion ratios, enquiry sources, and campaign effectiveness.
Submit periodic MIS reports to management.
Qualifications & Experience
Graduate in Marketing, Business Administration, or any relevant discipline.
1-5 years of experience in educational marketing, admissions, or institutional sales preferred.
Experience in school/college marketing will be an added advantage.
Skills & Competencies
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Convincing and counselling abilities.
Basic understanding of digital marketing platforms.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Ability to work independently and meet targets.
Willingness to travel locally and work on weekends during admission seasons.
