JOB SUMMARY:
We are looking for a proactive and dynamic
Marketing Executive
to join our
PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate)
business segment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting and marketing PET polymer grades, developing strong customer relationships, and expanding market presence. This role demands a mix of
technical understanding of PET
,
market insight
, and
excellent communication skills
to effectively manage clients and drive sales growth.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Promote and market Reliance PET grades to existing and prospective customers.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with converters, traders, and end-users in the PET segment.
Conduct regular market visits to gather insights on customer needs, competitor activities, and pricing trends.
Achieve assigned sales targets and ensure timely collections.
Provide customers with technical support in polymer grade selection and application suitability.
Identify and develop new business opportunities in emerging PET market segments.
Coordinate with internal teams and Reliance officials for order processing, dispatch planning, and customer service.
Prepare and maintain sales reports, customer databases, and market analysis records.
Stay updated with latest developments in PET applications, packaging technologies, and sustainability trends.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in
Marketing, Chemical Engineering, Plastic Engineering
, or a related field.
Experience:
0-2 of experience in
PET marketing
, preferably in a Reliance or similar industry ecosystem.
Proven track record of managing B2B sales in the plastics or packaging domain.
Exposure to
industrial customer handling
and
territory management
is an advantage.
SKILLS:
Strong knowledge of
PET grades
, applications, and end-use industries.
Excellent
sales, negotiation, and communication
skills.
Proficiency in
MS Excel, SAP
, and report generation.
Customer-oriented approach with the ability to handle accounts independently.
Analytical mindset with capability to interpret market data and trends.
Self-motivated, disciplined, and able to work under minimal supervision.
