The Marketing Executive - BTL Activities will be responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring all on-ground marketing and branding activities for the lighting product portfolio. The role requires strong coordination skills, understanding of brand visibility, and hands-on involvement in events, dealer promotions, and retail activations.
Key Responsibilities1. BTL Planning & Execution
Plan and execute BTL campaigns including
dealer meets, electricians' meet, van campaigns, shop branding, canopy activities, and product demos
.
Implement
in-store visibility
programs across modern trade and retail counters.
Coordinate with vendors for
printing, fabrication, branding materials, POSM, and event setups
.
2. Market Activation & Promotion
Conduct
field activities
to boost brand visibility and product awareness in target markets.
Ensure
timely rollout of promotional schemes
, contests, and incentive programs for dealers and influencers (electricians, contractors, etc.).
Identify potential markets for micro-level activations and outreach campaigns.
3. Vendor & Budget Management
Manage event vendors, negotiate costs, and ensure high-quality execution.
Track BTL budget utilization and ensure activities are completed within approved costs.
4. Coordination & Reporting
Work closely with
sales teams
to align marketing activities with business goals.
Track activity performance, gather market feedback, and prepare
MIS reports, post-event summaries, and ROI analysis
.
Maintain inventories of branding materials, display units, and POS collaterals.
5. Retail & Channel Support
Develop and execute channel marketing programs.
Support dealers with visual merchandising setups, signage installations, and new store branding.
Ensure brand guidelines are followed across all touchpoints.
Key Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of
BTL execution
, ground activations, retail marketing.
Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders (sales, vendors, dealers).
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ready to travel extensively for on-ground activities.
Good understanding of lighting/electrical industry trends (preferred).
Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
MBA/PGDM in Marketing preferred.
Experience in lighting, consumer durables, FMCG, or electrical industry is an added advantage.
