Marketing Executive - Plastic Industry (Field Sales & Business Development)
We are seeking a highly motivated
Marketing Executive
with hands-on experience or strong interest in the
plastic manufacturing industry
. The ideal candidate will be responsible for
field visits
, generating
new business opportunities
, identifying
high-quality leads
, and building strong customer relationships. This role directly supports production by ensuring a consistent pipeline of orders and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Development & Lead Generation
Conduct regular
field visits
to identify new customers in industries such as packaging, automotive, FMCG, household goods, industrial components, etc.
Generate
qualified leads
and convert them into long-term business opportunities.
Conduct market mapping to identify potential buyers of plastic products, raw materials, or custom molded items based on the company's capabilities.
2. Customer Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong professional relationships with distributors, wholesalers, manufacturers, and corporate clients.
Understand customer requirements and coordinate with the
production team
to ensure feasibility and timely delivery.
Maintain excellent after-sales communication to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat orders.
3. Sales & Target Achievement
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets set by the company.
Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and product demonstrations.
Negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery timelines with clients.
4. Market Research & Reporting
Stay updated with industry trends, competitor activities, and pricing fluctuations in the plastic industry.
Submit daily/weekly field visit reports, lead updates, and sales progress to the management team.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum
1-3 years of experience
in sales/marketing, preferably in the
plastic manufacturing or packaging industry
.
Strong knowledge of plastic products, injection molding, blow molding, extrusion, or related production processes (preferred).
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently with strong discipline for fieldwork.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively.
