Key Responsibilities
Generate and qualify leads for rooftop solar installations through direct outreach, partnerships, and referrals.
Build and manage a strong pipeline of residential, commercial, or industrial rooftop prospects.
Develop proposals, conduct site visits with technical teams, and present solutions to prospective clients.
Negotiate terms, close deals, and ensure a smooth handover to the project execution team.
Identify and collaborate with channel partners, installers, and local vendors to expand market reach.
Monitor regulatory changes, subsidy programs, and competitor activity to adjust strategy as needed.
Maintain accurate records of activity and performance using CRM tools.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Energy Management, or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in business development or sales and Service , ideally in rooftop solar or distributed energy.
Strong understanding of rooftop solar technologies, basic system design principles, and local market dynamics.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer engagement skills.
Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple accounts, and drive results.
