As we gear up for the next phase of our growth, we are now recruiting for one of the most critical roles in our core team, for an experienced professional to head the finance function.
The Role
We are now recruiting for one of the most critical roles in our core team - a strong adaptable professional to head all marketing and communications for Antler India. This person will build brand Antler across critical channels, stakeholders and communities. Early stage VC as an industry is undergoing a seismic shift globally and this person will build brand Antler to be at the forefront of this shift. The role will report directly to, and work very closely with the Partners at Antler India.
Key Responsibilities

• Content, storytelling and social media: Own the entire marketing function and build brand Antler India across formats and channels (webpage, newsletter, social media, podcasts, live sessions, PR). Build distinctive value for our community with relevant and topical content.
• PR, live events and campaigns: Handle multiple live and digital campaigns and events across platforms with a clear measure of RoI and success; try multiple iterations to get to the best outcomes over time; have a strong interface with key media companies; be able to work with designers / agencies to get the best creative output
• Community building and networking: Being a great brand ambassador for Antler across different stakeholders in the ecosystem including founders, VCs, startups, corporates, media and academic institutions; build deep long-term relationships with these stakeholders
• Mentoring and supporting founders: Portfolio support in relevant areas such as branding, digital marketing, communications, customer research, brand design and team hiring
• Working with a global ecosystem: Partnering with the global Antler organisation to get the best of design, branding, initiatives, etc.

Skill-sets and Competencies

• Strong marketing and brand building background with 7-10 years experience in early stage companies in India in highly competitive environments
• Passion for startups and innovation, and extremely high curiosity about new themes and key issues emerging in the Indian startup ecosystem
• Strong marketing and brand building experience in a combination of B2C (consumer / D2C brands) and B2B (SAAS / fintech) will be an added advantage
• Strong experience in creating content (especially multimedia), managing events and handling PR
• Experience in managing social channels and building an engaged following in an accelerated manner
• Designed and executed multiple successful brand campaigns across industries and stages of companies, working with different stakeholders like digital marketers, design agencies, social media experts, consultants, etc.
• Understanding of AI tools to create content / use in marketing / digital would be a certain added plus
