Position Description:

The Marketing Copywriter will report to the Director, Proposal Services and perform as a team member of the Sales Hub.

Requirements:

• Graduates or Post graduates with excellent academics.
• Degree in communications, marketing, journalism, advertising or similar field which provides the writing instruction needed to meet job demands
• Experience creating content, editing, copyediting and/or proofreading
• Excellent writing, editing, grammar and proofreading skills; superior English written & communication skills
• Demonstrates ability to work in culturally diverse environment and teams as well as working independently
• Demonstrates an eagerness to learn and take direction with a very positive attitude as well as contributing thought leadership skills
• Follows instructions and has the ability to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Demonstrates excellent communication skills including listening, written, oral, and presentation skills
• Proactive and committed to excellence.
• Effectively prioritizes and manages multiple tasks.

Key Responsibilities

With oversight from the Director, Proposal Services, the Marketing Copywriter should employ all aspects of writing, editing and proofreading proposal content, Company Biographies and case studies. Some of these responsibilities may include (but not limited to):

• Create, edit, proofread content according to Company best practices
• Proofread materials for spelling, grammar, punctuation, syntax, usage, consistency, et al
• Crosscheck references and data points
• Review output for consistency and that it is error-free (QA)
• Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels, as needed
• Participate in and contribute to ideation and strategy discussions
