The Marketing Coordinator at FMCIA will lead and manage all student admission activities, parent counselling, marketing campaigns, and internal-external communications. The role is crucial in building the school's visibility, strengthening parent engagement, and ensuring smooth enrollment procedures aligned with the institution's vision, values, and Cambridge education standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Admissions Management
Lead the complete admissions cycle from enquiry ? counselling ? campus tour ? follow-up ? enrollment.
Maintain accurate data of enquiries, campus visits, and conversions in MIS/CRM tools.
Conduct structured school tours showcasing infrastructure, curriculum, and school ethos.
Coordinate documentation, verification, and onboarding of new students.
Prepare weekly and monthly admission reports for the management.
2. Counselling & Parent Interface
Provide clear, informed, and empathetic counselling to parents regarding Cambridge curriculum, school facilities, fee structure, and academic pathways.
Address parent queries with professionalism, maintaining high satisfaction and trust.
Assist families during the admission decision-making process through personalised follow-up.
Build strong relationships with prospective parents and act as the school's communication bridge.
3. Marketing & Branding
Plan and execute marketing campaigns (online/offline) to enhance the school's visibility.
Coordinate social media management, website updates, and content creation.
Develop brochures, presentations, newsletters, and promotional materials.
Assist in organizing events like Open House, Parent Orientations, School Tours, and Outreach Programs.
Monitor competitor schools and provide market insights to management.
4. Communication & Public Relations
Draft professional communication, announcements, circulars, and press content.
Maintain communication protocols with stakeholders, partner organizations, and vendors.
Ensure school branding accuracy across all communication channels.
Support internal communication within departments for coordination during events and admissions.
5. Data Management & Reporting
Maintain structured databases for enquiries, conversions, retention, and marketing analytics.
Analyse enquiry trends and prepare strategic reports for decision-making.
Present monthly marketing performance, conversion ratios, and campaign outcomes.
6. Event Coordination
Plan and coordinate school promotional events, academic fairs, and outreach programs.
Manage logistics, invitations, registrations, and post-event reporting.
Support Cambridge-related orientations and awareness sessions for parents.
7. Stakeholder Coordination
Liaise with transport, finance, academics, admin, and HOS office for smooth admission workflows.
Work collaboratively with teachers and department heads to generate authentic school content.
Required Qualifications & SkillsEducation
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Communication, Business Administration, Psychology, Education Management or related field.
Experience
2-5 years of experience in school admissions, marketing, counselling, or customer-facing roles.
Experience in International / Cambridge / IB / Premium CBSE schools is an added advantage.
