You will work closely with the marketing team to craft persuasive copy that drives traffic, builds brand awareness, and generates leads.
Key Responsibilities
Write, edit, and proofread high-quality marketing content, including blogs, articles, case studies, whitepapers, email campaigns, newsletters, ad copies, and website content.
Develop engaging content for social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.) aligned with brand voice and audience needs.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content strategies that support product launches, campaigns, and business objectives.
Conduct keyword research and apply SEO best practices to increase online visibility and search rankings.
Create content tailored for different stages of the customer journey (awareness, consideration, decision).
Repurpose long-form content into bite-sized digital content such as infographics, reels, and posts.
Stay updated with industry trends, competitors, and target audience behavior to ensure relevant content creation.
Ensure consistency in tone, style, and messaging across all content.
Track and measure content performance, and optimize based on analytics and feedback.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, or related field.
Proven work experience as a
Content Writer, Copywriter, or Marketing Writer
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a strong portfolio of published work.
Strong understanding of SEO principles and content optimization techniques.
Ability to write for multiple channels - blogs, web, social, email, and ads.
Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress.
Strong research skills and ability to translate complex topics into engaging, easy-to-understand content.
Time management skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of digital marketing trends and analytics tools (Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc.) is a plus.
Preferred Skills
Experience in B2B or B2C content marketing.
Basic knowledge of graphic tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite for visual content support.
Experience with marketing automation tools (HubSpot, Mailchimp, etc.).
