1) Work with marketing and sales management to articulate sales strategies and objectives.
2) Research, develop, and test marketing strategies, messaging and plans that identify key value propositions, competitive advantages, marketing opportunities, direct marketing, and new project development to support sales goals.
3) Responsible for oversight of successful marketing campaign implementations including technical and artistic phases, materials, budgets, and vendor service agreements are completed and results are communicated to the management team and stakeholders.
a. Ensure completed marketing campaigns are evaluated and learning outcomes disseminated across the company.
b. Monitor and analyze new acquisition and retention marketing activity and costs against goals.
4) Play a key leadership role in working collaboratively with the sales teams, product development and other internal parties in developing integrated and multi-media marketing strategies to targeted prospects, members, groups, and producers to drive profitable membership growth and retention in accordance with the annual business plan:
a. Ensure complex quantitative models show how elements of the annual plan lead to achievement of business goals.
b. Develop and be accountable for execution of specialized marketing project plans and steps to ensure they support new sales and retention objectives.
c. Partner with the Marketing Delivery to team to ensure the sales collateral, newsletters, exhibits, and events product/service launches and promotions deliver on the acquisition and retention strategies.
5) Participate on and/or lead large cross-functional and project teams developing and implementing new marketing strategies, processes and tools.
6) Budget responsibility and oversight of project marketing budget.
7) Ensure projects are managed within budgets and on time.
8) Ensure all project briefs tie back into the associated acquisition and retention strategies, clearly outlining each project's objective, audience, timeline, budget and measurements of success.
9) Establish working relationships with key individuals from the relevant business sectors.
