To support the marketing and sales team in promoting textile products, coordinating with customers, managing documentation, and ensuring smooth execution of marketing and sales operations.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Sales & Marketing Support :
Assist the marketing manager in developing and implementing marketing plans and strategies.
Coordinate with existing and potential clients regarding inquiries, quotations, and order follow-ups.
Prepare and maintain product catalogues, price lists, and marketing materials.
Support in managing social media, trade fairs, and promotional activities.
2. Customer Relationship Management :
Maintain and update customer databases (domestic and international).
Communicate with buyers for order status, sample approvals, and dispatch schedules.
Handle customer feedback and coordinate with production and quality departments for timely resolution.
3. Order Coordination :
Assist in preparing sales contracts, proforma invoices, and export documentation.
Liaise with production, logistics, and quality teams to ensure on-time delivery.
Track shipment schedules and follow up with logistics partners and clients.
4. Market Research & Analysis :
Conduct research on competitors, market trends, and pricing in textile markets (yarn, fabric, garments, etc.).
Collect and analyze data to support marketing decision-making.
Identify potential markets and customers for business development.
5. Reporting & Documentation :
Maintain records of sales orders, customer communications, and marketing expenses.
Prepare weekly/monthly sales and marketing performance reports.
Support in preparing presentations for management and client meetings.
Qualifications & Experience :
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Textile Technology or related field.
Experience:
1-3 years in marketing or sales support (preferably in textile or garment industry).
Knowledge:
Basic understanding of textile products, export documentation, and marketing tools.
Skills & Competencies :
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to coordinate across departments and meet deadlines.
Basic understanding of digital marketing and social media promotion.
