We are looking for an energetic, results-oriented Marketing Assistant to expand our client base. This hybrid role involves supporting in-house marketing efforts while primarily focusing on field sales and business development. The ideal candidate will be proactive in visiting various industries and local businesses around Shirur- Pune, presenting our product samples, generating new leads, and securing new orders.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales:
Proactively identify and visit multiple industries and businesses within the assigned territory to introduce our services and products.
Product Presentation:
Effectively showcase Durwankur Digital Art's portfolio of graphic design, printing, and signage samples to potential clients, clearly communicating how our solutions meet their branding needs.
Lead Generation & Prospecting:
Implement strategic outreach methods (field visits, networking, local referrals) to find new customers and build a strong sales pipeline.
Sales & Order Management:
Negotiate pricing within company guidelines, prepare quotes, secure sales orders, and ensure seamless communication between the client and our production team.
Marketing Support:
Assist the marketing manager (or owner) with developing marketing materials, updating social media channels, and maintaining the customer relationship management (CRM) database
Client Relationship Management:
Develop and maintain strong, lasting relationships with clients to foster loyalty and encourage repeat business.
Marketing Support:
Assist with updating company social media profiles, managing the client database, and distributing marketing materials as needed.
Qualifications & Skills
Experience:
Prior experience in field sales, direct marketing, or a customer service role is highly advantageous. Experience specifically within the print, advertising, or signage industry is a significant plus.
Location Knowledge:
Strong familiarity with the local business landscape in and around Shirur- Pune.
Communication:
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills in Marathi and English (Hindi is a plus).
Motivation:
A highly motivated, self-starter attitude with the discipline to manage a flexible schedule (especially for part-time applicants) and meet sales targets independently.
Mobility:
A valid two-wheeler license and reliable transportation are mandatory for client visits.
Education:
Minimum 12th standard pass; a degree or diploma in Marketing or Business is preferred.
