Strong

communication & interpersonal

skills -- ability to talk confidently to students/parents, present AHMS courses, answer queries, handle objections. Good

persuasion / sales / debating

skills -- since role involves convincing people to enroll; ability to explain benefits (hospitality courses, placements, etc.).

Comfortable with fieldwork & travel

-- need to visit schools / colleges / public places, maybe across different towns/areas; mobility (bike/own transport may help) may be useful (common in Kerala-based marketing jobs). Basic

marketing knowledge

, interest in hospitality/education sector -- to effectively communicate AHMS's offerings and understand what prospective students might want.

Organizational and follow-up skills

-- ability to track leads, maintain data/contact-lists, coordinate with placement/admissions cell, ensure smooth handover from interest to registration. Good

presentability and attitude

-- as hospitality/education industry places value on grooming, communication, and presentability. Also, the institute offers foreign-language & grooming training, meaning the candidate should appreciate those values. Some

basic marketing/digital literacy

could help -- while role is field-oriented, ability to coordinate with digital marketing efforts, social-media, or follow-up calls/emails may be beneficial.
