Job Description

The Marketing Executive for pharma machinery is responsible for promoting pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment (e.g., tablet presses, granulators, blenders, filling lines) to pharmaceutical, biotech, and contract manufacturing companies. The role involves lead generation, client relationship management, product demonstrations, and supporting the sales process to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:Sales & Business Development:



Identify potential clients in the pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, and allied industries. Generate leads through cold calling, email campaigns, exhibitions, digital marketing, and references. Understand client requirements and recommend suitable machinery solutions. Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.

Product Presentation & Promotion:



Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations. Provide brochures, catalogs, and videos for marketing purposes. Participate in trade shows, industry expos, and technical seminars.

Client Coordination:



Coordinate with internal departments (production, design, service) to meet client expectations. Negotiate prices, delivery terms, and close sales. Maintain relationships with existing clients to drive repeat business.

Market Intelligence:



Gather feedback on products, competitors, pricing, and market trends. Assist in developing marketing strategies and promotional plans.

CRM & Reporting:



Maintain customer data and track sales activity using CRM software. Submit weekly reports on lead status, sales pipeline, and competitor activity.

Key Skills & Qualifications:



Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical) or B.Pharm; MBA in Marketing is a plus. Knowledge of pharmaceutical production processes and machinery. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools. Willingness to travel extensively for client visits and trade shows.
