The role requires a strong understanding of social media trends, analytics, content strategy, and audience engagement, particularly for service-based and eCommerce-focused businesses.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Strategy & Planning
Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies aligned with business and marketing goals.
Identify target audiences and tailor content to drive engagement, traffic, and conversions.
Plan monthly content calendars for all assigned platforms.
Content Creation & Publishing
Create engaging, high-quality content including posts, reels, stories, carousels, and short-form videos.
Write compelling captions, hashtags, and CTAs optimized for each platform.
Coordinate with designers, video editors, or internal teams for creatives when required.
Ensure consistent brand voice, tone, and visual identity across all platforms.
Platform Management
Manage daily activities on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), and others as required.
Schedule and publish content using approved social media management tools.
Monitor comments, messages, and mentions; respond professionally and in a timely manner.
Analytics & Reporting
Track and analyze social media performance using platform insights and third-party tools.
Prepare weekly/monthly performance reports highlighting growth, engagement, and campaign outcomes.
Optimize content and strategy based on performance data and insights.
Campaigns & Growth
Plan and execute organic and paid social media campaigns.
Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to support product launches, promotions, and brand campaigns.
Stay updated on social media trends, algorithm changes, and best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (preferred).
1-3 years of proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role.
Experience managing social media for brands, agencies, or service-based businesses is preferred.
Strong understanding of major social media platforms and their algorithms.
Proficiency in content scheduling and analytics tools
Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe tools) is an advantage.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Creative mindset with strong attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and manage multiple accounts or projects simultaneously.
Strong time management and organizational skills.
Proactive, analytical, and result-oriented approach.
