About the Role
As a Marketing and Sales Intern at Newton School of Technology, you will play a vital role in driving the admissions process by engaging with prospective students and their parents. You'll be responsible for lead qualification, follow-ups, and ensuring that every interaction delivers a strong, positive impression of NST. This role is ideal for individuals with strong communication skills, a people-first approach, and a desire to gain hands-on experience in sales and admissions operations.
Key Responsibilities-
Reach out to potential students via phone to provide detailed information about NST programs.
Conduct follow-up calls to nurture leads and ensure conversions through personalized guidance.
Qualify leads based on defined criteria and share insights with the counsellor or admissions team.
Maintain accurate and updated records of all communications and lead statuses in CRM tools.
Collaborate with the marketing and admissions teams to refine outreach and conversion strategies.
Address student queries professionally, ensuring clear communication and timely resolution.
Support in scripting FAQs, call templates, and communication workflows.
Track and report daily and weekly calling metrics.
Requirements-
Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and at least one local language.
Comfortable making a high volume of calls and managing follow-ups efficiently.
Proficient in Google Workspace, MS Excel, and familiar with CRM tools (preferred).
Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
