Prospecting, pitching, and enrolling new customers in chit schemes.
Collection & Recovery:
Conducting daily field visits to collect monthly subscription installments from subscribers.
Documentation:
Issuing payment receipts (Thalavariyola), maintaining collection logs, and updating passbooks.
Customer Relationship Management:
Following up with subscribers for timely payments, explaining schemes, and resolving queries.
Reporting:
Submitting daily reports on collections, new enrollments, and pending dues to the branch manager.
Key Requirements
Required Qualifications:
Generally a graduate or equivalent degree.
Experience:
0-6 months (entry-level) or prior experience in field sales/collection preferred.
Skills:
Strong communication, negotiation, and convincing skills.
Assets:
Must own a two-wheeler and possess a valid driving license.
Computer Skills:
Basic proficiency in using software for accounting/reporting.
Working Conditions
This is a full-time, predominantly field-based, 6-day working job.
Requires frequent traveling for customer meetings and, in some cases, attending branch meetings.
Often includes incentives based on collection targets and new enrollments.
