This role is responsible for identifying business opportunities within hospitals, conducting structured market surveys, generating qualified leads, and driving sales of the company's products and services. The position requires consistent field activity, strong relationship-building skills, and an analytical approach to converting market insights into actionable sales strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Market Survey & Research
Conduct detailed market mapping of hospitals, healthcare facilities, and related institutions.
Gather data on decision-makers, procurement processes, competitor presence, and demand trends.
Prepare accurate survey reports and provide insights to support strategic planning.
Sales & Business Development
Generate leads through direct visits, calls, and professional networking with hospital administrators, purchase teams, biomedical engineers, and department heads.
Present products, solutions, and commercial proposals clearly and confidently.
Drive the complete sales cycle--from initial contact to negotiation, order closure, and documentation.
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Client Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with key hospital stakeholders.
Ensure prompt follow-up on enquiries, quotations, and service requests.
Coordinate with internal teams (technical, logistics, service) to support customers smoothly.
Reporting & Documentation
Maintain updated records of visits, leads, opportunities, and conversions.
Prepare daily/weekly sales activity reports.
Support management with competitor intelligence and market trend updates.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Graduate in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, Biomedical, or related field.
1-4 years of experience in healthcare sales, hospital marketing, or medical equipment sales.
Strong field sales orientation and willingness for frequent hospital visits.
Good communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to analyze market data and convert insights into actions.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM tools.
