Market Specialist
Location - Pune
- Use subscription data sources like WoodMac, HIS, Rystad, LME, MEPS, etc to gather intelligence of raw materials and commodities development for the supply chain function in Aker Solutions.
- Access key suppliers' websites/reports related to capacity and production availability on regular basis
- Structure and assess information gathered
- Removal of unnecessary data, analyze and interpret
- Work actively to collect, develop and publish market intelligence in order to keep the category manager, contract managers and wider SCM organization updated on key market developments.
- Engage within the category networks to support strategic decisions and share regular market intelligence reports on key raw materials and supplier capacity constraints in key categories.
- Provide substantive inputs on category management and corporate contracts strategies and plans
- Become a subject matter expert in the use of market insight tools and capacity development activities as well as in depth understanding of the assumptions for the subscription data sources used for analysis.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the category / buyer's network in identifying and addressing raw material reports, past and future.
- Support strategic partnerships with knowledge management
