The Role
We are seeking an experienced and metrics-driven
Business Development & Outreach Manager
to be the primary driver of our sales pipeline. This role focuses on high-volume, targeted outreach across professional platforms, freelance marketplaces, and direct email campaigns to secure qualified leads and new client contracts for our agency services.
Key Responsibilities
Professional Outreach (LinkedIn)
Design and execute targeted
LinkedIn lead generation campaigns
, utilising tools like Sales Navigator for in-depth prospect research.
Craft
personalised connection requests and outreach sequences
to engage high-value prospects (e.g., Marketing Managers, CEOs, Business Owners) that align with our Ideal Client Profile (ICP).
Systematically nurture new connections and transition them into qualified sales conversations.
Email Campaign Execution (Cold & Nurture)
Plan, create, and manage
outbound cold email campaigns
to target segmented prospect lists for specific agency services.
Develop
nurture email sequences
to engage non-responsive leads and move them down the sales funnel.
Manage email deliverability, A/B test subject lines, body copy, and CTAs to maximize open and reply rates.
Sales Pipeline & Reporting
Serve as the
initial sales qualifying agent
, conducting discovery calls and clearly presenting the agency's suite of services.
Negotiate preliminary project scopes and hand off fully qualified leads and sales opportunities to the closing team.
Track all activities and measure KPIs (e.g., Reply Rate, Lead Quality, MQL to SQL Conversion Rate) within the CRM system.
Platform Management & Bidding (Upwork/Freelancer)
Source and qualify
new business opportunities daily across freelance platforms like Upwork and Freelancer.
Develop and write
highly compelling, customised proposals and bids
that showcase the agency's expertise in Website Development, SEO, and Branding.
Master the platforms' algorithms and competition to maintain a high proposal-to-interview conversion rate.
Required
2+ years of direct experience
in B2B lead generation, sales, or business development.
Proven track record of success
in generating leads/closing deals on competitive freelance platforms (Upwork, Freelancer).
Expertise in
LinkedIn Sales Navigator/Outreach
and cold/nurture
Email Campaign management
(experience with tools like Mailchimp, HubSpot, is a strong plus).
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a mastery of persuasive and professional B2B copywriting.
Strong understanding of digital agency services (SEO, Web Dev, Branding) to effectively qualify leads.
