Market Research Intern - Business Development Team

Type:

Internship (6 months minimum)

Key Responsibilities


Market Research & Analysis



Conduct market research to identify potential clients and industry opportunities Analyze competitor strategies, pricing models, and service offerings Research and maintain databases of target companies and decision-makers Monitor digital marketing trends and emerging industry insights

Lead Generation Support



Assist in identifying and qualifying potential leads for the BD team Research prospects' business needs and digital marketing requirements Create detailed prospect profiles and market intelligence reports Support the development of targeted outreach strategies

Data & Reporting



Gather and interpret data on market size, customer segments, and growth potential Present insights and findings in clear, actionable formats for the BD team Maintain CRM databases with accurate and up-to-date prospect data Track and report on lead quality metrics and conversion rates

Presentation & Communication Support



Assist in preparing pitch decks, client proposals, and business presentations Support BD team in client communication and follow-ups Collaborate on internal presentations using tools like Canva and Google Slides

Required QualificationsEducational Background



Bachelor's/Master's in Marketing, Business Administration, Market Research, Economics, or related field MBA or previous internship experience in market research or business development preferred Solid academic foundation, especially in research and analysis methodologies

Technical Skills



Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace Experience with CRM platforms and online research tools Familiarity with Canva for presentation and design purposes Basic understanding of digital marketing and social media platforms Comfortable working with data and interpreting statistics

Core Competencies



Analytical mindset with attention to detail Strong written and verbal communication skills in English Ability to distill complex research into clear insights Experience with both primary and secondary research techniques
