Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and target-oriented Market Research Executive to support our IT and Non-IT B2B sales initiatives. The role is heavily focused on sales lead research, data hunting, and market intelligence to help the sales team identify potential clients, decision-makers, and business opportunities. This position plays a critical role in building a high-quality sales pipeline.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct B2B market research for IT and Non-IT industries
Identify and generate sales leadsthrough online research, portals, directories, LinkedIn, and databases
Research target companies, industries, products, and services
Identify key decision-makers (CXOs, Managers, Procurement, HR, IT Heads, etc.)
Collect, verify, and maintain accurate lead data (company name, contact details, industry, requirements)
Maintain and update leads in CRM, Excel, or internal sales tools*
Segment leads based on industry, geography, company size, and buying intent
Track competitors, pricing models, and market trends relevant to sales
Share qualified and validated leads with the sales team on a regular basis
Prepare basic research reports, dashboards, and lead performance summaries
Ensure data accuracy, compliance, and confidentiality
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field
Strong internet research and data hunting skills
Understanding of B2B sales and lead generation concepts*
Proficiency in MS Excel / Google Sheets
Good communication skills (email and internal coordination)
Ability to work with targets, timelines, and accuracy benchmarks
Preferred Skills (Good to Have)
Experience in IT services, SaaS, digital marketing, or B2B consulting
Hands-on experience with CRM tools
Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, or similar tools
Basic knowledge of sales funnels and lead qualification
Experience
Fresher to 2 years of experience in market research, B2B research, lead generation, or sales support roles
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Number of qualified leads generated
Lead accuracy and validation rate
Timely delivery of research and lead lists
Contribution to sales pipeline
