Job Description

Job Summary: Responsible for daily floor care, marble polishing, carpet shampooing, sofa/chair cleaning, and deep cleaning in hotel premises to maintain high hygiene and presentation standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Daily cleaning, scrubbing, buffing and polishing of floors Professional marble maintenance including grinding, polishing and crystallisation Carpet shampooing using wet and dry extraction machines Sofa and chair shampooing with appropriate chemicals and methods Deep cleaning of hotel lobby, corridors, service areas and guest floors Safe operation of single disc machines, scrubbers, wet vacuums and polishing machines Proper usage, storage and handling of cleaning chemicals Maintain daily work logs and cleaning checklists Report equipment issues or surface damage immediately Follow hotel SOP, safety standards and cleanliness guidelines
Requirements:

2-5 years experience in hotel or facility management industry

Knowledge of marble polishing, floor maintenance and professional cleaning methods Experience in carpet and upholstery shampooing Ability to operate housekeeping machines safely Physically fit, disciplined and able to work shifts
