Job Description

The Manufacturing Floor Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all day-to-day operations on the production floor to ensure that manufacturing processes run efficiently, safely, and in full compliance with quality standards. This position plays a key role in coordinating labor, materials, equipment, and production schedules to meet company goals for output, cost control, and on-time delivery. The role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to motivate a diverse team of operators and technicians in a dynamic production environment.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise, coordinate, and lead production staff across assigned shifts to ensure production targets, quality standards, and delivery timelines are met.Plan daily work schedules, assign specific tasks to operators, and monitor progress to maintain steady workflow and resource utilization.Maintain adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety guidelines, and company policies at all times.Oversee machine operation and material handling to prevent downtime and optimize productivity.Identify and resolve any production issues or bottlenecks promptly by coordinating with maintenance, quality control, and engineering teams.Train, coach, and mentor production employees to enhance their technical capabilities and promote skill development.Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to drive accountability and continuous improvement.Monitor product quality during production and coordinate corrective actions when deviations occur.Ensure compliance with ISO standards, lean manufacturing principles, and 5S workplace organization.Maintain accurate production records, shift reports, attendance logs, and material usage documentation.Analyze production data to identify areas for cost reduction, yield improvement, and process efficiency.Assist in planning and execution of preventive maintenance schedules to minimize equipment downtime.
